First Sewing Attempt EVERby ~ParaSchiz

Artisan Crafts / Needlework / Other

As the title says, this is my first ever sewing attempt. The pattern itself is the seal of the contract from Hell Girl, a.k.a. Jigoku Shoujo (It seemed suitable to hang above my commission of Ai Enma that I got at Ohayocon 2010 ^^). The banner was hand-sewn by me and made using black fabric, red fabric, and red thread.

I hope to go into costume-making for cons as a hobby; figured this would work as a practice attempt. In my trial and error, I noticed that the back-stitch worked best for this specific project. I'll probably use the whip-stitch on my costume... Unless I find something more durable and effective.

Don't mock me for sewing; men do it too.
